I don't know, Mark. I just don't know. What is going on with America and the frantic drive to know just what's happening with this "celebrity" and that "celebrity?" Some of 'em are famous just for being famous, like Paris Whats'ername. Used to be, people idolized celebrities because they were good at what they did. Katharine Hepburn was a consummate actress, Joe and Dom DiMaggio played the game well, etc. And they were gents and ladies - or at least kept the dirt stowed under the rug. Nowadays it's all drugs, rehab, brawls in the streets and guns in luggage at the airport. And Joe Shirtsleeve STILL wants all the latest gossip.
